Description

The Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea), or blue Egyptian water lily, is an aquatic flowering plant native to the Nile valley and East Africa. Revered in ancient Egyptian art and ceremony, its star-shaped blossom appears on temple carvings and tomb walls as a symbol of rebirth and the rising sun. Traditionally the dried petals were steeped as a floral tea or infused into wine during rituals and celebrations. Ours carry a soft golden-blue color, a delicate sweet-earthy aroma, and a mild floral flavor — hand-harvested and carefully packed for quality and freshness.
