We are here to serve you as we serve the Lord.

My name is David Hahn, and I founded Koala Tea Kratom not just as a business, but as a mission born from a second chance I never earned and will never take for granted.

I lost my father when I was thirteen, and grief sent me down a hard road. For years I was lost — in and out of trouble, in and out of prison, disconnected from my family and my purpose. It nearly cost me my life: I survived a near-fatal overdose that left me in a six-day coma.

There were seasons I'd rather forget — including sixteen months homeless in Mexico, drinking tap water just to get by. But God wasn't finished with me. On February 15, 2020, with the help of God, good friends, and AA, I put down alcohol for good — and I've been sober ever since, one day at a time.

Everything changed in a jail cell. A Bible came through the “bean hole” — the little food slot in the cell door — and fell open to Psalm 98. Something in me whispered, maybe this is real. That whisper became a faith that reshaped my entire life. Three years later, I was ordained.

From there, God kept opening doors to serve. I came through the Alpha & Omega Home — a Christian renewal center for men in the bondage of addiction — and later had the privilege of serving as its assistant director, walking beside other men fighting the same battles I had. For a season I also served as head pastor at Hillside Baptist Church. I don't say that to boast — it was all grace, and simply a chance to hand others the same rope God threw to me.

That hard road gave me a heart for people who have nothing. It is why we are launching Hahn Sparkling Water — clean, refreshing water with a mission to help the homeless around the world get safe water to drink. I know what it is like to have nothing clean to drink; no one should.

Today I try to be a fisher of men. I pay it forward — helping people coming out of incarceration get back on their feet, from bailing folks out to placing them in transition housing. To me, a business is just a tool. The purpose is always bigger than the business.

In 2017 I launched Faith & Fitness Enterprises, and in 2018 Koala Tea Kratom was born — out of a passion for natural botanicals and a calling to treat people like family. A decade later, we've grown into a trusted source for lab-tested kratom, with 128 five-star reviews and a perfect 5.0 rating. But what I'm proudest of is the people we've met along the way.
